might be user error or probable to much neg pitch but that would be alot of neg pitch and i have no clue if they looked at and fixed that problem with the ver 2 never worked with the dx4 so no help there go through manual make sure all switches etc are setup correct then call horizon if they are .  one other thing you could try but take it outside is to flip switch from mode 1 to mode 2 and see if she climbs but being your first fbl 3d you will prob wreck it lol. they are sturdy just be prepped to drop it back into mode 1 . it could be that they set to low of pitch or headspeed from factory also.

I think my problem may be that i was binding the dx4e to the heli the wrong way. The procedure i was using was for computerized tx's. I havent tested my theory yet but I would think that would cause a problem.

So still no luck on getting the heli off the ground. I got it off the ground maybe twice by switching to the stunt blades. I think that my problem may be the main gear it seems like it is spinning on the shaft. Is there a better gear for it?

When you use a non computer radio you have to bind in a non computer mode per the book.

Glad you figured it out,

Jim
