Status: offline 		Guys I need some connectors, 6mm tygon to 3mm feul pipe? (Uat to P20 fuel pipe) can anybody offer any advice on what they use and a possible source?

Status: offline 		Why can't you make a step down fitting using the appropriate size brass tube for the tygon and solder in step down sizes of brass tube till you get to the size you need for the 3mm?

I just looked, and a regular envelope weighing 3oz, with a ridged item is only about $3. Let me know if you want me to make them, and I'll figure out a price. (6m Festo barb to 3m festo barb)

I worked out that the 4mm to 3mm festos can take a 4mm brass tube and the tygon when pushed on over 10mm is a very very good fit ... the ID of the tygon is slightly smaller than 4mm

Status: offline 		Perfect - get yourself some wire lock pliers and wire and you're done! Rough up the tube also - around it but not down it's length if you see what I mean!

Al's Hobbies have them, I don't use a UAT with my P20, just a paper filter clunk in the main tank, the clunk is made from a paper filter obtained from "Inline filters" in the UK and a piece of lead soldered onto the bottom, be careful if you go this route as the paper filter is glued to the end caps, the outlet is a turned down brass clunk Hysoled into the other end cap, In case you don't know if you are going to use brass tube solder a barb onto the tube to wire tie behind.

Will the Festo grip on the brass tube so it doesn't work it's way out and cause a leak? That's probably why Jeff is suggesting you rough up the tube. I would pull on the tube to be sure it's secure.

Status: offline 		When I am going to put fuel line onto a piece of brass tube, I always put a single wrap of copper wire around the end of the brass tube and solder it in place, to act as a barb to make sure the fuel line can not come off. I do put a wire wrap on ALL barbed and tube connections.

Don't waste your money on lock-wire pliers Scott, use ordinary pliers and introduce the tension and twist by hand. Important thing to remember is to put 2 wraps of wire around the tube so you don't end up with a 'pinch' point on the tube and, hence, a potential leak point.
