Barry, i said i was not going to post any thing else, however, as it is you, i will. that intake hole is very big and it is very possible to slip on a fod screen, so possible that i did it and if you would like, i would post a video of me doing it again. Also, the video Shaun made clearly shows no fod screen, is'nt that a no no, you yourself told me that....
For the person that talked about not seeing any burnt airlines, i had already repaired them, qouted them with bvm heat resistant and also covered with a carbon fiber plate.
thats it.
Barry, what opinion are you getting at, i am curious to know...

ok, again, when i found the problems with the turbine, a couple of weeks ago, i notified Shaun about it, as well as Barry. Barry insisted that i ship the turbine back up to him to investigate. I did so when i travelled to NY on feb 12th, i took it with me. Don't forget, i live in TRINIDAD. About 1 week ago, via phone conversation, Barry confirmed with me that the turbine was indeed in a crash and he would send the estimate for repairs and the report when he can, which he did yesterday.
Also, on the note of me not being a poor man, i am saying that to merrit the fact that if a damaged the turbine, i can afford to fix it, why would i go thru all of this??? i would not lie. it makes no-sense. Fact is, i got the turbine and aircraft in Poor condition, and incomplete. Yes, it took time to figure this out, but this was due Only to bad timing for me.

I'm just wondering how well protected the turbine was when he took it with to NY. I think we've all seen how airline baggage is handled. That may have contributed to some of the damage.

Good point. He still hasn't sent us pictures of the front of the turbine like Todd and others have asked? Why?

Even if you could slip on the FOD screen, you would either have to slide the turbine aft or remove forward bypass, either way, much frontal side of turbine exposed. I do not believe that the obvious visible damages were not noticed.

My opinion? you tell me George....

Don't keep on embarassing yourself. I would recommend
you closing this thread. You are making a clown of yourself.

Most FOD screens fit on the engine starter motor pretty tightly. If you slipped a FOD screen onto the engine thru the intake, you would certainly have felt a cracked starter motor mount, if not cracked it yourself, trying to get it on. It is hard to imagine there being as much damage as you claim and the plane was even partially flyable.

Not trying to attack you but a constructive suggestion for the future, take many pictures of something expensive before you ship it, regardless of the condition it is in. You never know what additional damage the carrier will do while your package is in transit.
