Status: offline 		I took 61 pictures this afternoon but could not find a good way to post that many here.  I noticed a post 199 that mentioned a way to get them into this thread.  I have Emailed them to the link provided in 3 groups (24, 24 & 13 photos).  I have not noticed them added to this thread yet, however some are available at



All 61 have not made it to that site yet..

Status: offline 		Great event as we can expect from this group. Everyone involved went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The venue could not be better and even when the wind kicked up to 10-15 and a direct cross, the runway was wide enough to encourage everyone to keep flying.

See you guys in mid September at Fly for Tots.

Status: offline 		WOW , while sitting in the airport to head down to Puerto Rico, I get to reflect on the BEST JET RALLY I have ever been to.

What an amazing event.!!! my first time here. The facilities could be named the BEST in the country for the jet guys. Larry and the guys that put the work in, have done a great job. Every detail has been taken care of.

The camaraderie between everyone is the best. Everyone helps to make it a perfect event.

Not only it is the First in Flight event it is also a First in Class event.

Thank you guys. I think maybe next year we might need to make it a WEEK LONG EVENT.

Status: offline 		THANK YOU to Larry, Robert, Mike, Eric C. and to all those who I have not met but know worked behind the scenes for making my weekend at the FIF event one of my most memorable ever. The event was everything I had heard about it the past 2 years and then some. Outstanding flight facility to boot.

With very good friend and accomplished pilot Frank Alavrez at the controls and recently retrofitted with a pair of WREN MW44Tp Turbo-Props, we were able to present my 17 year old Beechcraft Starship-2000A at FIF as the last event this airframe officially attended was the Scale Masters Qualifier in Willow Grove Pa. in 1995 ! My very long time and good friends, the Malcione's were present then and now.....a great flashback in time.

Bob Fiorenze, another very accomplished modeler in his own right, was pitted next to me and he was one of the WRAMS trade show static judges in 1995 when the Starship was awarded Best In Show that year. Yet another great modeling flashback.

The Starship reemergence 2 years ago was made possible only by the addition of the WREN MW44 turbo-props to this airframe as flight performance was anemic at best with it's past piston power.

Again, thanks to all who make FIF possible and to all my friends present that made this one of the best events in my 51 year modeling journey.
