 Hi  to all
Does any one use the Impact   torsion bar set for the Tiger 1 and Panther.
Is it a good upgrade over the stock
torsion bars.? I am running impact Tracks and have lead weights in the turrets to balance the barrels.as well as added sevros etc.So they are kinda on the heavy side.

Thanks
Martin

Yes, the Impact system works well, although it is finniky to adjust first time around. I use the stock Tamiya torsion bars are the front and rear road wheel positions, they are stiffer and work better than the Impact bars in those positions. However, I also build fighters, not Sunday drivers. Here's a pick of the Impact system with the Tammy bars in #1 and #9 positions.

One thing to remember is that the Impact bars are adjustable. You release the set screw and turn the spring to compress it.
This stiffens the pressure of the bar. The Tamiya bar idea is very good but may not be needed for all tanks.
