Hi Guys,

Wanted to announce the next RCPRO Warbird race. It will be on March 24th at Speed World near Phoenix AZ. Pre-registration is required so if you are planning to race, be sure and contact Jerry Widmer at jerry.widmer@siemens.com and give him your AMA number and which class(es) you will be flying in.

The Speed World crew put on a stellar event and you will not want to miss it. At the last race there were 45 pilots in attendance.

So looking forward to this event after having my butt handed to me in the 3 pole event last month.
Thx Jerry and the gang for giving us a venue to come and play. SUPRA will be small in number but mighty in strength.

Hey Marty,

Yeah, I'm looking forward to it too. I just put together my first electric powered warbird. Want to give it a try. We are starting a see a smattering of EP warbirds. Mine is the Kyosho Hien 50 EP. There is always a good variety of models at the Speedworld race.

Looking forward to seeing your Stiletto run. You get faster with that thing every time I see you fly it.

Hey Marty,

I will have my 1.15 Strega there just in case the Tony doesn't do what I think it will. Just have to give EP a try at least. You will be able to tell on Saturday morning. If the Tony is sitting there it will be #1. If not, expect to be tangling with the Strega. Funny, There will be 4 Hien 50's coming from our club alone. Seems we all got the bug at the same time.

Not bad now that I tamed it down and moved the C/G a little foward. First flight was a little harry.

Not as fast as some others but a nice start.

It was a really great day of Racing. 12 entries in Gold, 20 in Silver and 12 in Bronze.

There was a great variety of models and power plants. I can't remember how many times I saw 4 planes abreast coming around the pylons. Just great!

Congrats to the Victorville group for capturing a lot of trophies- you guys are getting stronger and stronger.
Way to go Tony on the Gold Trophy.
And welcome back Cary and congrats on your 2nd in Silver.

I really like the pic of the group running out to put out the fire, though I dont like the idea that it was Chris plane. He was fast and wouldve been a great front runner!!

Once I did a 1:35 with my Dago and YS110. It could definately happen with the Stiletto and a YS115.

My race in Phoenix was with my back up and a 110. Oh Boy!!
