Don't worry, the floats are coming! LOL. Got a lot more done today as I finished all the triangle stock on the fin to stab and stab to the fuse. I put red/white checkerboard trim on the bottom of the wing and stab. Will be gluing up the stab to fuse, mounting the .30, putting in the servos, battery, receiver, tank, and then moving everything to find the best location for CG. Then I'll make the push rods to the tail. Going to run the water rudder off the nose wheel control arm. I think I'm going to use just a short piece of 5/32 to a control arm so there is no coil or wheel sticking down when the floats are on. Might even run pull-pull wires to the rudder vs. a single push rod. I know I'm going to hear how "lousy" the old blow molded GB floats are but I know they'll work for this plane with no issues as my old one did. This plane is nice and small and should be a real easy one to just take to the pond to have a ball. Maybe another day or two and it should be done. I will maiden at the field first then put the floats on it and go to the pond.

Hello NO on the truck. I am starting on it again and have a guy who's going to help work nights on the body. Once the body is done I will do everything else. I'm not a body man. I can do the mechanical, interior, etc. just not body work. I can cut the panels to fit perfect and I can weld but I'm not that good with a mig welder. I can tig and stick weld real good, just haven't done enough with the mig. I do need to get it done though hopefully in the next three months I can get the body done and primed. We'll see.

Ok,
It's all done ready for it's maiden (on land). I am currently working on it's sea legs too. I will be trying to get it flown today. Funny, years ago when I had my first one I thought it was good size. Now I realize it's pretty small. Glad I followed the advice given here and didn't go with the heavy Saito as it was hard enough to balance with the Magnum 30. Servos and battery pack are right at the rear of the the wing.
