Hello,

I recently purchased a Futaba 12FG with a 2.4GHz module and have the following questions that I could not answer from the manual:

1. Can the SF and SH switches be swapped? I have been using a 9C for years and am used to the spring loaded switch being on the left side of the transmitter and on the 12FG it is on the right hand side, so I would like to switch them, if possible. If so, is this something I can do myself?

2. How can a three position switch be programmed to operate like a two position switch? I have programmed the SE switch to control a robart air value and it works, but it would be better if the middle position of the three positions caused the servo to be at the same position as when the switch is in either the forward or back position, instead of a middle position.

Thanks,

-Ed B.

1. Yes, they can be swapped, and since they are both two-position switches, you don't have to reset the transmitter.

2. When a switch is operating a channel, you cannot program the positions. Think of it as being a 3-position slider. It controls the servo as "one end, middle, other end". However, you can set where those positions are. Just change the AFR curve in the Model Menu. Then set the Offset to "-100%", Rate A to "0%", and Rate B to "+200%". This gives you one position of the switch commanding one end of travel, and the middle and other switch position commanding the other end of travel.
