Status: offline 		Hello, so I am waiting on a k4.6 engine from ebay. I am looking to put it into a old savage 25 (3.5). Can I just use the flywheel and clutch bell from my old .25 savage engine on my new k4.6? Also can I use the old mount?

Thanks for the help! cant wait to hear that piston pump! ha

Status: offline 		Pretty much any .21-.36 car engine can be fitted in to a savage. It just has to be pull start / roto start because you cannot use a bump box to start the engine. The .21-.36 car engines are pretty much universal. They have the same mounting demisinions, and crank demisions. Traxxas on the other hand decided to build their own engine so you would be forced to traxxas for replacement. There have been other engines that are desinged to replace traxxas engines so stay away from them as well.

Status: offline 		little tip on the K4.6 if its like the one I got it was sent with the needle set WAY too rich, and needed to be leaned some to get it to fire up the 1st time, and hit break in temps.
