Status: offline 		I'm in the process of getting rid of my 1/10 truck and getting into 1/8 scale mainly for durability. Right now I have modified my truck so much that I break or strip something every time.

So I'm looking at 1/8 4wd electric buggies and was wondering what you guys this is the most durable buggy with good parts support that will handle 6s. I love the vorza but I'm looking for other opinions. It doesnt have to be rtr, a kit would be fine.

Mugen MBX6 ECO
RC8 brushless converted.

I have an 8ight 2.0 with a Mamba Monster 2200 combo and it is wicked on 6s I haven't had any durability issues with it yet either.

My other option was the mugen, but at $400, plus servo $100, plus radio/rx $100 plus monster Mamba $300. We are talking $900.

People get obsessed with racing spec buggies. 

Get the best buggie for the least money. If you want a basher also consider the Thunder Tiger EB4 G3 which comes with a shed load of upgrades and way cheaper than a Vorza. You dont get a Castle system but then again its an RC car and you dont need 90% efficiency. The TT motors are good enough and churn out serious power and they dont cost the earth. you can always upgrade one day.

I'm just a basher and have never taken my 8ight 2.0 to a track. The buggies i listed are all top notch buggies built with high quality parts. Personally I just can't take the HPI Vorza seriously. After owning several HPI vehicles along with several more vehicles of the brands I listed I have concluded that HPI doesn't do it for me anymore. I used to be an HPI fanboy but not anymore. I found what i like and I will probably stick to it now. have to admit though that I have never driven a Vorza and so my feeling about it are probably not based in reality. The other HPI vehicles I have owned just aren't on the same level of quality as some other are. I don't want to step on any toes herethis is just my personal opinion. If you have a Vorza and like it, that great! I just don't ever plan to own one.

The problem is the buggies you listed are all expensive race kits, One you have to buy a Nitro and covert to electric. The guy wants an electric Basher. Not a Carbon Fibre Race Buggy costing close to $1000

Yes, if you buy them new they are very expensive. I peiced my 8ight 2.0 buggy together over the winter from a used roller that was in peices and I only have about $450 into it now with the Mamba Monster system. I also just bought another 8ight 2.0 truggy that is ready to go with a Tekin RX8 system for $500. I like to have good quality stuff but I don't like to pay for it. I am always looking for good deals. If you are patient the deals are out there and you can easily get yourself top quality race kits ready to go for less money than what a basher kit would cost new.

Status: offline 		If you buy top of the line cars (Losi or Associated) yes you will pay more up front but spend less down the road.
I have a Associated SC8 based on the RC8 and you can not hurt it, it is a beast, the Losi 8 2.0 good buggy
as well.
Now if you are going to bash get yourself a Ofna.

Either will work well for you. Personally I preffer a lower KV motor, it wil run slightly cooler and can handle slightly taller gearing to compensate for the relative reduction in RPM..
