Cocobear; can you give us a hint if TF is also considering releasing a giant Spitfire in near future

I have the TF giant P-51, Corsair, and the .60 Spitfire, and I will purchase the FW-190. I would really love to get my hands on a giant TF Spitfire to add to my collection of WWII fighters

WE are not able to comment on what we will or will not be pursuing in the future. The FW 190 marks a happy departure from our mormal American only fare. If you wish to see more of the same, vote with your dollars (pounds and Euros welcome) and I am sure our product planners will notice.

It will be interesting to see how long it takes for this to actually be available for shipping. It seems many times the plane could have been built in the time it takes! The ARFer's jumping over themselves to be the first in line. All the while being frustrated with delays for over a year!

I'm seeing some panel details on the fuse, I wonder if this is printed on the covering or done afterward. And I wonder what the story is on what looks to be airbrushed areas.

The 2 circles on the fuse??? I believe that would be the water transfere decals....not printed monocote...

Mine is already on order here in Norway. Are you able to take a measure inside the cowling? Approximately 5cm inside and distance from firewall to the front.

That would be highly appreciated!
Just to see if Saito 57Fg or Moki 50VT will be a good match

I'm going to see how well she flies before I buy a second. I've got the retracts, both mains and tail from Sierra, Inzpan cockpit kit, Pilot and a flying scale spinner with fan unit for mine (fan should be here soon). With all these parts, buying a second now was out of the question. However, my build will be very slow. I have so many Dora's. it'll be nice to have another Anton added to the fleet.

Thanks.

I have three coming in from Fighteraces.co.uk. They're also to my knowledge, distributors of the sist kits.

Other then this, I'm being cautious on buying anything like the cockpit kit and gear. I want to do some measurement first. I have a set of Sierra 1/5th scale mains and tail to test with.

Ram; You getting the Spinner and Fan Unit to use on the New Top Flite FW190, or another 190? if for the Top Flite, how will you know it will fit or be the right size, etc?

That's the chance you take... If this is considered even close to 1/5th scale, the spinner should fit, even with a little modifications to the cowl. If they're too small, I have FW190's that they'll fit on. Then theirs always the spinner for the Vailly FW190.

Mind that this spinner is for a 1/4.5 FW190. The TF 190 being 1/4.8?? Plan B,

Ram; Thanks for the reply and the information, have to see which Spinner/Fan will work the best for the Top Flite FW190, I wonder if the Top Flite Spinner that will come with this Plane will work with one of these fans?

My greatest question is.......
Will it have a 3-piece wing, like the Giant Corsair???? It is a wonderfull thing if they could do so....

It isn't listed in the description, so I was wondering if it was up for debate at topflite or just forgot to add the
info on the webpage...??

Tower Hobbies states 'More Technical Information to be added when available'; may have to wait till then to find out about a 3 piece wing, or when the manual is available, which should be forthcoming I would think.
