The KCRC Spring 424 & 426 race is right around the corner.  It will be held on April 28th.

This will be another great opportunity to earn some points for the District 5 2012 - 424 Lead Goose and 426 Cauldron trophies.

Highlights:
Judgeman Digital Light System
Experienced work force
Great flying site
Tough competition and some donkeys from the flatlands of KS.

the flatlands of KS

Yeah, there is real excitement as mountain climbers from all around the world flock to Taum Sauk Mountain in Missouri to scale it's lofty heights (currently topping out at a majestic 21,264 inches). They can almost double their altitude if they climb a tree.

Yes Jay we will be at the field on friday, and if you or anybody else from out of town want to stay at the Super 8 hotel in Lee's Summit it is right in my neighborhood and probably the cheapest hotel in town. It is only 10 minutes from the field. There will be beer at my house friday night after flyin. Look forward to seeing you.

I talked with Scott Causey the other night and he is planning on being at our race with some tickets to a raffle that he, Tom Scott, Dennis O'Brien and a couple other guys put together to benefit the Cliff Telford Memorial Scholarship Fund. The prize is a fully ready to fly Ninja.

Here is a link to give you some more details about it.

Have fun everyone.

Take lots of pics for this relocated MOkan man.

Good luck trying to keep the Missile from taking all the hardware back to Springfield, he's good, plus he will be less handicapped without his lack luster caller.

If you can't stop the Missile, please keep those Flatlanders off the podium...

Hey Duane, I talked Jim Nikodem into driving with me and not flying down. That way he can fly both classes. Can't wait to get the season started - even if it's with SlowKan guys

It's off to KRC I go with a car full of airplanes.

The question of the hour. How many airplanes can you carry in a small car?

Eddy - If you still need an engine or airplane, give me a call.

Scott, you'll have more airplanes in your car than I have at home!

Looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend. I plan on flying 424, just got back home from a trip to Turkey that turned into a side trip to Estonia on the way home.. spent about 5 more days gone than I had hoped, so the 426 planes won't be ready.

That's ok, I'll fly 424, and have a good time BS'ing with everyone!

I didn't have any issues with loading 6 models in my car. It probably would hold a couple more if needed.

On the way home I brought home 4 models. A couple of them went to KRC modelers.
