Hey All,
Like many others, my ESC fried on my Savage Flux XS...and on 2S. I'm sending it into HPI. However, I'm not confident the problem will be solved if I receive the same defective ESC model. Just wondering what the best ESC for the SAVAGE FLUX XS would be? I've seen some folks upgrading to Hobbywing SC8. However, would like to see what others have tried. Price range is around $100. Thanks.

I believe it will be fixed. I sent my fried esc in about a week and a half ago. its a new design and product so there's going to be defective parts. just better design and enginering and it should be better. if mine fries again, i plan on getting a  brushless xe-run system for 1/10 scales. its at hobbypartz.com. i think its like $80?? but i know thats what im going to be running. i personally dont think castle systems are worth the money.

Thanks. Do we know that HPI has improved the ESC following all these problems?
