Mine is virtually nib, there aren't even fingerprints on it. I worried about the $600+ I paid for it but no longer................. $2075?!?! I would like to know what happened there. someone lost their mind.

DAAaammmmnn!

I've seen this happen before where Bridi Kits that can still be bought new from Blue Jay for $120 then go for $250. An Ebay bidding war erupts and it then turns into an ego battle of I have more money than you until someone finally caves.

This particular one is an Ebay sellers dream come true.

2 guys did David. I was watching this for a while. Yesterday it was 480 then it jumped to 680. I was thinking, wow, this is probably going to go up to 750! 2 hours to go I checked again and someone bid high. 1225. I watched the PGA Masters and came back with 2 minutes left, still at 1225 then the winner bid, with 20 seconds left. He bid really high. jumped at once to 2075. I wonder what his actual bid was? This was just as exciting as the golf tournament was!

Bryan, Yup. These guys really wanted this. The second bidder was probably thinking he had it with a 2000 bid... wrong.
Would have been really interesting if this auction would set another 5 min. after each highest bid at the end. You know, bid at last second, become the highest bidder, and the auction end time changes to add 5 more min. so others can think about it. No telling where this would have ended.

There are still pilots who prefer single stick equipment even though it has vanished from current production (as far as I know). This was NIB Futaba equipment which can be updated to current technology (Fasst). Still, for that kind of money I'd learn to fly 2 sticks... fortunately, I already do!

#1 Nope, I know the seller and he not that way. No, it is not me either

#2 Most of these high price auctions sell to out of country buyers who are collectors. The buyer of that $2000+ one is from Switzerland.

#3 One sold not to long ago in the same condition for around $600.00 but then the seller didn't ship out of the USA.

#4 IT is only worth what someone is willing to pay. It just happens to be ALOT right now.

I'd have to agree with impactiq. I saw one more than a few years ago that went over $3K, a few others well over $1250. I sold one (a set in excellent condition) that went to a fellow in New Zealand, he paid almost $900 with shipping (my reserve was $350). I have another that I'm considering trading for a DX8, or JR10X to use in a project. I see a number of single sticks, arguably they are somewhat rare, some go pretty cheap while others (like this one) pull in top dollars. Market forces at work.
