I am scratch building a Pitts SC1 (Lil Stinker) and was wondering about wing incidence. The plans call for  0 deg incidence for both top and bottom wings with a 3 deg dehydral on the lover wing. The original full size showed a 0 deg incidence for the bottom and 1' 30" deg on the top wing. Can anyone direct me in the right direction as this is my first bi-plane and I am not sure wether to follow the original full size specs or go with the r/c plan specs. and what should I expect out of either. Thanks

I'd go with the nedative 1.5 degree on the top wing. Most Bipes use some negative on the upper wing as it allows the lower wing to stall first, while the upper keeps flying.

Sorry, but I should have stated that the top wing on the full size plane is positive not negative.

i recently scratch built a pitts s1-11 super stinker its 86" span and da100 powered
it has 0-0 both wings and 1.5 degree positive stab (down elevator)
and has no down thrust and 1 degree right thrust. it flys fantastic and due to stupidity i had to dead stick it recently and it was a non issue I even made the runway.
the stupid part was, i hit the throttle trim while at idle in a long down line.
gee it quit DUH.
