Howdy -

I'm just getting back into the hobby after a long hiatus (about 7 years)...much has changed...but much has not. A Revo 2.5 was my first nitro RC car. At one point in time I think i owned as many as 6 complete REVOS. Why so many? IT WAS ADDICTIVE.
Well I got back into it last year and the addiction hit me a again ( oh well). I wanted to build a really unique Revo with as many hard to obtain or rare parts that I could find. And so began my quest...Techno Knuckles, Q-Concept BB Mount, Chrome Tranny, Carbon Fiber chassis...just to name a few. Then I came across a post for Vantage Carbon Fiber A-Arms. I had to have them; If anyone has ever posted PICs of these A-Arms other than the Vantage Racing pic...I could not find it.

I sent an email to Vantage Racing and they confirmed that they did infact manufacturer the A-Arms but never released them in the US. So after 4 months of sending Vantage emails begging for them to sell these to me...guess what arrived in the mail today?
2 Full sets of Vantage Racing Carbon Fiber A-rms (Uppers and Lowers).

Shelf queen or bling...you can't deny this is the makings of a truly unique revo!

Summit is a Beast - Yep. I've started to think about that as well. Sooo...no bashing with these. Wide open spaces only...absolutely no bashing.

Pyromatic177 - $200. Vantage Racing provided 2 full sets Upper and Low for both the Front and Rear Arms. So I have spares. Completely worth every penny IMO. If nothing more it certainly makes this car unique. VR was clear that in a collision these will more than likely break. Again I was fine with this as I don't race and consider my self a light weight basher if that.

Miamibanshee - No part number was provided. I reached out to VR via email and they responded. It took a while for them to locate the parts in the overseas warehouse but once they did...smooth sailing. Send them an email it can't hurt....At least they know where the parts are now...

I ordered a carbon fiber chassis from vantage racing  for my revo over 8 weeks ago and paypal told me the order went through. I have tried everything to contact vantage but i still have not received a response. Has this happened to anyone else? if so, how did you solve it and did you end up getting the chassis? Anything will help.

Thanks,
Joseph

I'm torn they would be good for handling and if you raced, but as a basher I'm not really sure I would see the advantage in them. They do look really cool, and I love some nicely formed CF parts. Your drive shafts and steering will both be happier with stiffer A-arms. not a whole lot more expensive than RPM A-Arms at that price.

$100 for a set all around.

To everyone who intends to buy from Vantage,
I bought a carbon fiber chassis from Vantage Racing more than 18 weeks ago and I have not received it. I am not positive so do not take my complete word for it but i am guessing that they went out of business in Taiwan.  I emailed Ricky (the owner of Vantage Racing) around 7 weeks ago and have not heard anything from him. I am going to cancel my order because I am pretty sure that i wont be receiving the chassis. I was always a big fan of Vantage and their products were flawless. If anyone hears anything about them going out of business please post a reply because Vantage is an awesome company and I'd like to know where they went.

thanks,
Joe

I think you need to have two revo's so that one can be a shelf queen and one can be used. I personally like looking at shiny new parts but like using them even more. Too bad the company went bust.

You're just mad you don't have them.
