Thanks Tim.
Definitely bring the Batt Clock please.

Ive got me a new plane in the stable, its a yellow SRMII. I fired the engine off on it yesterday evening for the first time between the "rain showers that the weatherman said we wouldnt get any until sometime next week. "
How does Battman and Robin feel about racing against the Tweety Bird?

I stuck a 'smaller than normal' size prop on it to do a break in/heat up run and Ive never turned a pro 40 up that much before!
I wont really know anything yet on the engine until I stick my regular prop back on it and get some readings ,maybe tonight?

Well boys, the Harvest race is now in the books and its now Birmingham RC's turn to show y'all just how much fun can be had at this here Club40 racing stuff.
That is if you're not skeered to race. You're not skeered to turn and burn ,are you?
If you're skeered, just say you're skeered and stay home and watch cartoons Saturday.

Who all is planning on coming to Bham Saturday ?

It looks like my dad and I are going to be the cooks for Saturdays event. We are starting to get ready by picking out some of the food we will be having. Its going to be lots of hot dogs and also a little conecuh sausage as well. We got a couple big cans of baked beans, chips, and some containers of cole slaw for the sides. There will be lots of soda and I think my dad is even going to bring out a water cooler with some cups. If there is something else we should pick up or if anyone else wants to bring a side, that would be great as well.

John,

I'll bring the Bat-clock and the Bat-radios too.

Batman's broken leg has been mended. Another case of very little glue holding the landing gear blocks in place. I don't know how it didn't break last year. I flew all season with it and then while landing after the first heat race of this season the landing gear block broke. If you are flying the SRMII ARF, check those landing gear blocks and add some epoxy around them. You will have to remove the fuel tank or cut out the sheeting on the bottom of the fuselage, but it will be worth the effort.

Try to get some video of the race. If you don't have time to edit and process the raw video, I have an FTP server you can upload it to and my son can turn it into YouTube ready video.Or we can use https://www.wetransfer.com/ to get files to me.

Don,

I have a HERO GOPRO that I'm planning on bringing. I'll mount it on my hard hat so I don't have to do anything but fly.

I have full editing capability (I own a video service business) so that won't be an issue.

Great job on the video David. When you get time, please post the A Main vid as well as any pics you may have taken.
Are you having trouble uploading pics? RCU will only let me upload a max of 3 pics at a time. And that takes a long long time to upload if you have quite a few picures
I will also post my pics of todays race as well as give the winners list with narrative at the end of the pics.
Here are the start of the pictures I took,.....[image][/image][image][/image]

You tube loaded my video pretty slow, or maybe its just my computer. I shot it in 1080 hi def and thats probably why it took so long. I have noticed that RCU has had trouble uploading pictures due to all that changing of the servers. I will try a few.
