Hi, I'm totally new to Boatting, and need some help and advise to setting up this boat. My neighbor gave me this Hull and I not sure where to get all the stuff and what to get it running. I don't know who make it, the only thing I found and look like it is 72" Apache. My measure 72" x 17"

Welcome to the hobby!

You need a full hardware set up, plus radio and an engine and pipe combination.

The hardware you need is:

Flex drive shaft and tube
Rudder
Strut or stinger drive
Engine mounts
Engine
Exhaust system
Radio box
Radio receiver, transmitter and two servos + batteries
Linkages for radio gear
Fuel tank
A prop

I think I got most of it there, though most likely missed something off.

Most of the hardware items you will probably wnat to buy new, but some bargains can be had on secondhand engines, I am a fan of Zenoah, but others are available.

Your limiting factor on this will be your budget, a hull that size can handle some larger or even twin cylinder motors if you have the funds for them.

Glenn

I noticed that you said you are a newby if im correct? If you have never ran or rigged any boats before i would advise to start with a single or inline motor just to get the concept down. Have seen twin (side by side) set ups discourage guys from boats all together. They can be a real pain in the *** at times when trying to get both motors in sync.

Why not go for 3 in that monster!!!  Would be expensive as hell but just as awesome!!!!  And btw, you only need one rudder. Twin rudders are a waste of money and create additional drag that you don't want.

It'd have to be a pretty strong single to push 72" of Apache hull. Maybe something like an RMCK K30, or a modded zenoah 29.5. A single RMCK 600 inline would be the logical power choice. If it were mine, I'd do counter rotating 30's, but that a bit of setup for a first build.

RCMK K600 would be the better choice for a single drive set up....and yes a single 29.5 or 30cc will work fine too. Just wont be as fast. If you stayed with 2 motors you dont need to have CR motors as i have seen set-ups with both left hand rotation run fine....but my twin SV43 has CR motors.
