Hello, I'm looking for a set of plans for an Albatros DIII. Something in the range of 50" to 65" WS. I'm not looking for a true scale set. Any help would be great. Thanks Ken

At the Toledo Expo several years ago I picked up plans for the D5a from Scale Plans & Photo Service.  They appear close to a D3.  Not sure on the real differences, maybe different engines?   1/5th scale at 71" upper wing and recomended power = 1.20 four stroke.  Hope this helps

Not really the best of choices. The old Cleveland plans are just rubber powered free flight plans that have been blown up to larger scales. It will take a bit of work to modify the plans for a viable RC plane. It is a lot easier to start with an RC design first.
