Based on the highly successful first generation Habu, the Habu 2 continues the legacy offering pilots a highly advanced level of performance and technology.

With many new updates on top of the already successful highly durable Z-foam the Habu 2 can be fitted with optional E-flite retractable landing gear (fixed gear comes as standard) for improved performance with a cleaner airframe, and operational flaps for improved landings and with the new easy to see paint scheme based on the red, white and blue USAF Thunderbirds colour scheme and refined airframe, the Habu 2 provides extreme performance reminiscent of larger, more expensive electric ducted fan or turbine models.

The highly efficient E-flite Delta V fan unit coupled with the high performance brushless BL-15Ducted Fan 3200kv motor powers the Habu 2 delivering scintillating performance and a superb vertical climb rate.

The Habu 2 is offered in bind and fly (BNF) basic form giving modellers the flexibility of supplying their own battery charger and transmitter while keeping costs for such a high performance model to a minimum.

Can't wait!

There's no difference between this habu 2 and the habu other than the pain scheme and maybe the cutout flap 9which you could do on habu 1 but its doesnt need them at all)  Wierd.

vasek,

The Habu or Habu 2 is not scale so what is right? I think they did a great job to enhance the orientation in flight for intermediate flyers...which is their target market. Look at the modifications I did to mine to keep the grey from disappearing at a distance.

Terry,

You should be getting royalties, buddy!

I still have my doubts on the F-4 showing up in 2-3 weeks. I voiced many of our concerns about products being advertised and then late on delivery. The young man I spoke to was very honest about the many problems that have occurred delaying the deliveries of several products and I informed him that I am going to hold them to the dates they give me or the money is going elsewhere in the future.

Greg, the scheme is taken from a "scale" plane, so me thinks it should reflect it. I wouldn't mind a little deviation from that, but what they did is plain ugly (at least to me). I work in visual arts, so I am sensitive to that. The guy who proposed the bottom pattern needs to get his vision checked by a professional LOL

Cheers , Vasek

Vasek,

I think it closely represents the scheme the T-Birds used on the T-38s back in the day for what it's worth

I get your point Dave, thanks but it's still ugly to me B/C they didn't copy it correctly

The red centerline is missing (which breaks up the blue line pattern) plus the wing is considerably longer making it goofy looking. But at least they tried

Who give a rats ass that the bottom isn't scale. It was not done to be an exact replica of a Thunderbird. It looks great and 99% of the market does not care about the bottom being different. Also horizon puts estimated dates for arrival. These things come from china and there are many variables that could delay them. Its out of horizons control. Grow up and be patient.
