Hello my name is Darrell Morgan;

Our club is interested in hosting an IMAC event at our field next January 19-20th 2013.

Our Asphalt runway is 665 feet long by 70 feet wide. We have 240 feet of covered pit area with 40 setup tables and unlimited parking.

Our club unfortunately does not have experience with judging nor hosting an IMAC event, therefore we are asking that you provide staffing for this event, judging, scoring and a CD. We have room for 2 judging stations/ flight lines.

Overnight RV parking available, no hook ups, no open fires. Local Motels and Casinos available in the valley closest is within 4 miles.

Lunch will be available both days. Landing fees etc. TBD.

Our Club has hosted many large events in the past, such Best in the West Jets for 4 years, SCAT events, and multiple Large Aero tows.

There are 5 local club members into IMAC style flying.

If you are interested in helping us establish a new winter IMAC event and or have more questions call Darrell at 760-449-4176 or 760-343-4119 or email me at darrellmorgan79@yahoo.com

Or contact our club president Daniel Metz at 760-831-6045 or desertskcyam@aol.com

Here is the link to our club site: www.cvrcclub.com

Thank you for your time

Darrell and Dan

Your best bet would be to contact Tim Attaway, the Southwest Regional Director for IMAC. He can be reached at SWRD@mini-iac.com

Hi Dan.... I have forwarded your information to Tim (SW Regional Director) with a direct link to this thread. He should be contacting the above individuals regarding your request. THANK you for your interest in IMAC.
Our website can be found here: IMAC Looking forward to welcoming your club into the world of Scale Aerobatics.

Hi Wayne

Thank you for the warm welcome into IMAC. Some years ago Bill Malvey ran some SCAT contests at our field, we all enjoyed them very much.

Our club also has some very good flyers that want to compete at the Basic and Sportsman level so this is a great opportunity for us both.

One of the things that we noticed was the lack of any contests for over 4 months during the first part of the year, since we have terrific winter weather this will be a great cold weather get away for flyers and their families as well.

In a nut shell it is a great calendar and club fit for us both.
