I'm looking at some 3S lipos... my 2S lipos have a 25C constant... 30-40C burst...

Is there a constant rating that's too high for the electronics? Like is 40C too high for the constant? Is 30C safer?

Or a burst rate too high? I've seen some at 60C, some at 80C...

Good suggestion... 25C minimum... anything 25C or higher is fine... going under 25C is morebrisk for harm than going higher I was told

the c rating is the amperage the batteries can deliver. the load in the system is what pulls the amperage. for example, a car starter is low resistence so it pulls alot of amps, yet a small interior light bulb has high resistance and pull very little amps. you could connect a tiny interior bulb to a battery with 5 million cranking amps but as long as the voltage was the proper rating the small bulb only pulls what it needs.......end of story get the highest c rating within your budget and battery tray size-scott
