Just received the spinner nuts, aluminum engine mount etc., got to love these extra parts, great stuff. The spinner nuts will also fit the Norvel .074 if you make a pin bolt (M4).

With the exhaust being so short, you'll probably want to order the "Marine Exhaust Extension" for it, it moves the muffler ohhh, I dunno, 3/8 to 1/2" out from where it normally sits.

That spinner nut you got is meant to be used with the 30mm aluminum spinners that MPJ sold. The nut you bought is included with the spinners when you buy them. MPJ offered 30 and 40mm spinners with a variety of nut sizes for the 40's, IIRC, there was just one size for the 30mm and that was to mount it to their 1cc engine.

I did a big purchase of these spinners from MacGregor last year, several dozen, and divvied them up between friends for Christmas. It was a good year!

Those are the correct MP Jet parts, they are just rebagged by McGregor. The M4 spinner nut can be use with either the 30mm or the 40mm spinners. There are also other metric sized spinner nuts to go with their spinners. If you order the 30mm spinner the M4 spinner nut is included.

I might be guilty of reducing their stock too...

You want to get the MPJ5546, but it seems they're out of stock; MPJet at McGregor

The prop axis is an M4 thread while the front screw (holding the spinner cone in place) is M2.5, so you want the M4/2.5 version.
Here is the complete 30mm spinner with nut and screws (out of stock): MPJ5546

Here is what you'll get;

I'd just email David, he is really responsive to his customer's needs. I never had trouble getting anything I needed from him even before MPJ started making these little gems again.

Takes 10 days from Oz to your doorstep.

I was just out flying mine. With an APC 7x3, it was doing over 17000 rpm on the ground, and unwinding to 20000 in the air. Not too shabby!

Mine is in a Pacer, a perfect combination.

I've added an RC carb since the photo.

It was plenty fast enough witha 7x4, so haven't tried going smaller.

Lately I have changed to a 7x5, airspeed is about the same, but now it's really quiet and still good enough vertical.
