i have heard that you have to mount wing servos oppisite of each other or they wont
work, can anyone explane what this means? IN all the dual a ron servos i have seen ,
both are pointed in the same direction.

thanks

Lets say both servos are mounted on thier sides with the output arms pointed straight down with the ailerons at neutral. Then the servos should both have their tops pointed toward the wingtips (or both with the tops pointed toward center...) This effectively reverses the output of one servo compared to the other, making one aileron move up when the other moves down.

You must use this, or swooper's method for using a "Y" cable on ch 1.

With a computer radio and mixing ch 6 to ch 1.. you CAN have both servos pointed whatever way you want, and use the servo reversing to give the correct surface directions... but then you might have the flap function give an aileron type roll respnse instead of the desired simultaneous downward or upward movement. (bad practice, but it works. I woud tell any beginner to rework his ailerons if he showed up with this and asked me to test fly it.)
