If you dont mind i have a few questions. I sent pictures of that boat myself to 2 builders in the US to try to pursuade them to build the hull, but they didnt really like the hull. I fell in love with that boat when they first put it on the race circuit! My questions are 1) Will you be building a mold? 2) If so are you willing to sell a hull?

Hello Sir
I am just building a boat for myself. to do a mold would require permission from the Mystic boat Company. who I am sure would want a small fortune for the rites to do that. she is a very cool Vee hull. from what my friend in Holland told me step vee hulls do not turn well at all. this is why they do not want to build it. but I am. she will be a Beaut! think of all the cool paint jobs you could put on it. or air scoops?? you could really change it up. I am working on the hydro for now. so this build log will be slow for now. keep watching. once I get going she will take shape pretty fast. Craig

Hi Matho
thanks for looking it over. it is nice to get more eye's on this to help get it as close to the real one as I can. working off of photo's is not the best way to draw plans?

Hi Guys
I am looking for 3 or four bladed props left and right hand. Bonzi sports has some, but I am not finding much else. also I need a 1/4 right hand twist flexshaft with a stub shaft on it. you would think this would be easy to find? could use some help. Thanks Craig

Hi Craig look forward to seeing how your build comes along mate. One thing i noticed is your rudder,i have the same one here ready to put on one of the 47" hulls im going to be producing for electric setups, its only 150 mm long actual blade is only 125 so i dont think its long enough for your 72" hull.Your right though its a great bit of kit, identical to the German stuff at a fratcion of the price.
Mart

Hi Wetsleeves
the hor blade is 5 inches long. the speedmaster blade I stuck in was just under 6 inches. I am talking to johnny about making a longer blade. I need a 7 inch blade for the lucas oil. lets see what happens. Craig

Hi Expresscraft
it was a great race. the Silverhook just commands the waves!! anyone who missed it go to Nigel Hooks facebook page there is a link to watch it. my hydro is going great. once it is done I will get going on this Very Unique boat. my plan is to do two one-offs and offer one to team lucas oil. every racing team needs a rc boat to race. have a great holiday.
