Status: offline 		I don't really know how to suggest a "better prop," is the current one causing handling problems or do you just want to go faster?
You can get larger diameter props to up your speed a little, or does the motor already run hot?
you don't want to fry any components, the props are a lot less expensive then the motor or the speed controller.

Status: offline 		If you're motor is running cool, I see no reason not to go with a 442, or 445, if you want to venture with 640 go for it, you won't know until you try.

There is no right prop, go by the heat of you're electronics, that what everyone does.
I tried a 442, 445 on mine it still cool and I mean under 90F, I'm getting a 642 ready to give it a try.

Here are some cheap props you can try, when you find the right one you can upgrade to metal prop.

Status: offline 		A good prop for that rev range in that hull is an X440/3 blade more stable in the turns too.

Status: offline 		ok , I got in a 50mm and a 52mm plastic guapners. I like how sharp they are !!!! I though I had a sharpened x440 but its dull as hell compared to these new ones !!! I wish I could run, but had a hose come off while running the other night (and yes it was the middle of the night) filled the heck out of the hull. my CC 240 was wasted. I hope the tech is in a nice mood when it gets to them....

question, I often run 2, 3 and 4 S along with 6S. How would a bigger prop like what i mentioned do with the weaker power set ups?

Status: offline 		I can't comment on a 3s, or 2s , but on 4s with that motor we run the M645, or X645 in our Restricted Class with those motors. Some run an X447. And that's with the original 45A ESC's. Thin it, sharpen it, balance it.
You really only need a 120A ESC at the most with that motor.

Status: offline 		i have a x645 i removed the tounge (copied an m series i had) back cut it about an 1/8th inch and cuped the tips up a bit. Seems like a good runner on my geico. Not with a stock esc or anything though. 80-90 amps on my set up.

I think I figured out my problem.
I don't know if it was on the timmimg setting or what. But I'm glad my cc 240 got ruined. While I waited on myth em to replace it. I picked up a hobbywing for $80. And the boat flippingxhaulls!!! I finally know what you guys arextalkingxabout when you say 6 s might be too much!!
Don't know who told me about it. But wow!!!
