Long time no see! I was running my Slash 4x4 out side today and the motor was getting very hot, so I let my Slash sit and cool for a while, anyway, I figured since I was in Texas and summer is fast approaching I figured it was time to get a motor and ESC fan, and I was looking a Integy Heat Sink and fan and saw a single and twin fan. Is the twin going to be that much better over the single?

I only ask because I relized there are two wires on the twin fan and I want to run a ESC fan also, so obviusly a "V" adapter is not going to help me with three cords.

If you buy the VXL traxxas fan, it is powered off the ESC.

to running the ESC fan off the reciever.

You said you were not sure about getting the duel fan motor heat sink cause you would have 3 fans to power off the recieve and a "Y" harness wouldnt work for that.

since the stock traxxas fan is powered off the ESC, a "Y" harness will work to power the duel fans for the motor.
