I have a Tubine AirStar Hughes 500e which I've been flying with a normal 2 blade head. Recently I acquired an Align 700E with a V Bar 5.2 system installed on the flybarless machine. Absolutely incredible stability and performance. As the V Bar system needs a pure swash setup, ie. three servos for pitch, I am thinking about converting my Hughes to 5 blades an installing the V Bar system.

Has anyone one done this on a multi blade (scale) Tubine heli?

3 servo ccpm conversion on the JetCat mechanics is very simple - pm me your email address and I'll send some pictures over.

Your biggest change will be that your JetCat system will need to be altered - the gearing is correct for 2 blade but not for multi.

You are currently running 1280 head speed and you will need to get it changed to a maximum of 998 - simple gear conversion at JetCat.
I would also suggest have ing the Twin Gear drive fitted at the same time to spread the increased loading - normally at no charge.
