I just ran my gst the other day after getting it back from my lhs for a broken clutch bell. I think the alignment is off. I tried to adjust, but I can't slide the motor back. Is there a standard of how many shims should be used & where they are placed?? Pics would be greatly appreciated.

I cant pull the engine back anymore. The holes arent slotted, I am as far back as I can go on both the engine to mount & mount to chassis.

Really ??? The alignment of the gears on the trans & on the engine seems off to me. Should they be aligned?? Or are they suposed to be a little off??

How many shims does everybody have btwn the clutch bell & first gear?? & btwn the first & second gear??

Anyone??? If I adjust the number of shims on the clutch bell the alignment gets better, but should I be changing the number of shims??
