I'm looking for a good 3D plane that won't break the bank and will easly take the DLE 20. Something with good low speed characteristics both in flight and landing.
Any ideas?

Thanks.

Aerworks makes an excellent profile with outstanding flight characteristics I think it is calle d th pro260.
But I could wrong about the name .

The DLE 20 is a perfect match for it.

The Aeroworks ProX260 is great at high speed aerobatics and sport flying. It is NOT great at low and slow 3D or tumbling.
I would recommend building a Swanyshouse MoJo65 or Balsastore Sbach65. WWRC (Wrongway) is also just releasing a 20CC bird.

I have a seagull 90 size Yak 54 with a 20 cc DLE in it. It is AWESOME!!! and it was only 170 bucks.  just make sure if you get one to NOT use the CA hinges! Use Du-Bro Nylon or Robart Pin Hinges.

Zach loves 3dhs birds, and most who own one, do.
I'll actually agree with him on the Velox, a nice change from the average run of the mill plane.
The AW maybe more suitable if confidence level is lower, The velox is not meant to be cart-wheeled across the runway.

I'm kinda leaning towards something ARF, I just lost a plane to gravity and wan't to get back to flying ASAP now that the weather is good. Any good ARFs out there besides the Pro260 or am I doomed to build?

The Velox is ARF for sure, yeah its a bit more spendy, but it will fly and be more enjoyable than less expensive models.
There are lots of choices, really depends on skills and $$ available.

Being in Canada makes things a bit more difficult

Building a profile isn't that difficult, even for a first time builder. If you are just learning 3D, you want something less fragile than the Velox. They are decent flyers, but a profile built around a fiberglass tube like the ones I mentioned above will take some hits.

the new peak/redwing/aerobees yak profile flys really well, it has a big wing at 1050 sq/in and weighs 7 pounds 8 oz dry, designed around the dle 20 and no lead is required to balance. And its cheap in the USA.

The down side is its not strong unlike a kit profile, like most arfs one bad crash she will be destroyed.

My next profile will be a swanyhouse mojo 65 unless someone brings out another arf that is stronger.

Just want to say im in no way linked to the sale of these models.

.
Specifications:
Wing Span: 65"
Length: 61.1"
Wing Area: 1029 sq. in
Flying Weight: 6.8lbs
Engine Size: 20cc

I have one, and yes they are great 3D airframes, but unfortunately being redesigned ( should be available this summer hopefully). I too have a Swanny Mojo and dig it as well.

+ 1 on building any of the mentioned kits. It doesn't take long at all. Here's my Balsastore Sbach 65.

As little as you need. The plane is capable of zero runway, anything beyond that is up to your ability. I have walked along side of mine. So how slow you can go is how slow you go. I will also say as little as possible, those gear are not for rolling far.
