how many engines have you already sold ?
how many questions in this thread ? LOL
if you drop the price of your "inexpensive" engines people will buy them did you notice that ?
good luck with your videos but I think you don't help too much the wallet of your customers.

wow, such support to some folks that have designed a seemingly great engine.. comments like that are sickning, especially these days with clones of everything flooding the market and ruining any small busniess. you should be proud of yourself for your contribution and support. cant even say they look nice, huh.

On the other hand, I also was wondering why I had not heard of these before, and suprised at the comment you quoted as well.. but Im sure he does have a lot of interest within his 'social network', and thats where I left my pondering, and moved on to interest. Not many 4 stroke options out there, I for one would love to have a good 4 stroke gasser. So keep up the great work guys, and maybe one day you'll be able to accomodate us with a good reasonal price listing

I cant wait to see more on how well they hold up over time, and all that

Oh such goo logic.

Ferrari don;t drop the price of their cars and it does not seem to affect sales...

Also, I flipped through a fairly recent ecomomics text book, followed by a Marketing text book and then phoned  friend. None could cite any reference to where a supplier is complelled to "help the wallet of your customers".

These Kolm engines are interesting and I am sure many people would like to see more of them and know more about them. The video clips are entertaining and makes me want one of those engines. So I think their marketingis working.

Maybe save up a little longer till you can afford instead of trying to shoot them down. You may get your way and when you can afford it they won;t be around anylonger. Who wins that way?

Helloo, short information of our 'factory'

at the moment we are FIVE, covering every process from programming the 2 CNC-machines, producing the whole engine-parts (gears, crankshafts with wolfram-inserts for best and finest possible balancing) pistons, zylinders a s o) ,soldering exaust and intake-tubes, building them together, break in and test runs a s o.
everything produced from massive and best possible quality of alu and steel; ( also best possible brands of carbs, ignitions (geman quality), piston rings and ball-bearings(german quality) are used)

Price is relative - we are not sitting in China in wood-huts, we have similar lifestyles like you, we are not able to produce hundredthousands of engines, the costs in Europe, in Austria are high, the Euro/Dollar relation is playing a heavy role in price...

But we are happy to be able to build those fine engines

@MIKOLA:, my one and only comment to you: you Know Nothing about us and i wonder why you are posting such sentences, you seem to be frustrated, but just turn speakers loud and listen to the cool sound in the vids, that maybe helps

Thanks for that, I did find that in the end, was looking on your website. What is the length including the carby and does the engine need stand offs to mount it

I have treated myself to the Kolm 67cc for a Jeff Micko P-47.
I just wanted to say these engines are worth every cent. The break-in
procedure is not completed, but have a big smile my face doing so.
There haven't been any surprises as in coughing, dying, overheating
,etc. This engine idles beautifully at 860 with Xoar 22" 3 blade and
rev's out to 5700 so fast that I really find myself triple guessing the
strength of my engine stand. This motor pulls extremely hard and with
almost no vibration. I have two Saito engines, FG 36 (for H9-150 P-51)
and a FG57T (for Aeroworks Checkmate). I haven't had the pleasure of
breaking in the 57 yet, but if it's anything like the 36 then I guess I'll have
two boat anchors on my hands. Shame on you Saito! Do the R&D please,
we've all been loyal to you. Wish the Kolm would have been available in
the U.S. earlier. I am tired of buying JUNK, you get what you pay for. I'll
pay the extra $300 all day long for this quality. You just have to control the
impulse buy, I get by on less than average retirement. It sure is nice to buy
something without the dreaded "Buyers Remorse".

Old Fart,
You have read my mind! The new 4cyl 270cc in the Fisher P-51, huh? I'd literally would have to pack shop towels around with me to control the drool.
I am gonna have to start picking up aluminum cans to pull that off. I take it your a Kolm believer too. I've purchased a Jeff Micko P-47, and it deserves
the best components I can afford. I don't mind going hungry, let the gas bill go, live out of the dollar store, etc to complete this build. The Kolm 67 will
make this JUG a real climber. Hang- in there Old Fart.

Please tell me about the black backplate system. Is that housing for the cam drive gears? It almost looks electric start or power take off ready.

Thank you.

Hello Ernie,
Sorry, fell asleep writing a response to your question regarding the black backplate. Getting old is not that easy. Yes, it is a cam & crank cover and
I don't know if the starter integrates back there or whether it's totally electric. They offered it to me, but I couldn't wait to get my hands on the motor
itself. It is not a terrible expensive upgrade, I remember that. I've been slowly breaking in this 67cc and It leaves me with a smile on my face every
time. This is what a motor should run like, extremely willing. The valve adjustments could not be easier and accessible. I put a little "Lucas" Safeguard ethanol conditioner with the fuel mixture and she always fires right after a little choke, without fail. Got a little long-winded there, but they
are worth it. As for as the starter, it starts so easy that I wonder if the addition is cost effective? Hope this helps.

Michel,

I bought the 50cc and the 67cc Single from Kolm engines and they are running very well in my two planes, Zero and Focke Dora and i am a great fan of that engines, so i made the kolm gas engine threads with my videos.

but i am not involved in any business or administration so i would be glad that you let that be an engine-experience and test thread.

For your bussines details please check it out with the producer, i can give you no response, cause i'm not involved in any business or administration;

Nice greetings

Hei, once again: i know how the engines are built up, and, as i told above, i fly the two engines, but i'm not involved in admin and bussiness-details;
that has to be cleared directly between AMR and with the admins
