Status: offline 		It's the RAF Benevolent Fund logo and they are the teams nominated charity. Being 'manly' isn't just about flexing muscles!

It's not the first time this has been done and I think it's quite nice of them to help fundraise for their less fortunate colleagues/ex-colleagues.

Status: offline 		Didn't like it at first but, if you look at it for a while it grows on you. Still pales compared to the 2010 scheme but, that one's tough to beat, debatably,  one of the hottest looking schemes on any aircraft ever.

Status: offline 		On A slightly different topic but still about the BAE Hawk.

I just purchased the Carf Hawk in the Union Jack configuration Which I like a lot. I didn't realize that the wings were painted a light grey. I like the way it looks.

My question is was the original wing painted a light grey?

I have been unable to verify the color. No one that I know in the States can help me.
