email links to threads no longer working
Hi,
Since this morning, the RCU emailed links to my subscribed forums no longer work. I get an Error display. And it's only RCU, Groups work fine. I didn't change any setting.

OK I see it works from here, but not working from my inbox (same link)
Any cure for this? Thanks V.

This is what I still get this morning.
When I copy/ paste the link to another browser, it works & all other links from my hotmail work as well except RCU links. What gives?

Vasek,
I'm not quite sure what is going with your system. I've tried on 8 different computers so far to recreate your problem and so far I have not been able to get an error message out of it. I'll keep trying and see if I can come up with anything for you.

I get emails from a few places that the pics and links are blocked,, look around you security setting, there must be a way to allow the links

Yeah, it looks like that. i double checked the hotmail setting, couldn't find anything suspicious. But again I'm no guru in settings (on the contrary). It seems strange it would change settings on its own though. Where would I have to check in hotmail settings to see any restrictions on viewing links etc.?
It's really a pain having to copy&paste all the RCU notofications... hope you find something Ken.

Ok we're talking Hotmail.. it doesn't show a little yellow highlighted area that says this? Hotmail blocks links a lot

if you click the "show content" the links should work,, if you click "Always show content" the links should work all the time without you needing to do anything

No that's not it (I am aware of that one) it says:
"The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading."
It's like I don't have internet connection working, but I do. Works for everything else but RCU links [

Ok I have good news and bad news:
The good news is the RCU links started working again this morning... the bad news is it was temporary, stopped working again this afternoon. I didn't change anything, came home & it works no more [:@] bummer

Ken, the links started to work again with no intervention on my part. I don't know what the problem was, but it's fixed now.
