I know it's not 1/2 A, but it's what has been keeping me from 1/2 A. +, this is where I usually hang out. Don't really know any of the guys in large scale. Stinger 120 w/a Supertigre 3000. Flew it today after a recover job (last flight was 2006) and it was great. 4 flights till an axel broke on landing even though the landings were gentle. Flies like it's on rails. Actually makes me look pretty good........

Nice, Rubbernecker. I also fly models other than 1/2A but this forum is where I usually hang out. I like the vibe here and the characters I've met along the way. I have a strong interest in flying Cox powered RC models but sometimes I have to try other things to avoid limiting my life experiences and to keep from burning out. I fly sport glow in various sizes up .91. My son and I also have quite a collection of Parkzone BNF planes in micro and park flyer sizes. The last several planes I built are Cox powered so my summer project this year is to get my 60-size TF P-51 airworthy with a 4-stroker. After that, I've got a TD .010 project lined up to keep my roots solid. It will be featured here, of course. Maybe then, I'll get back to my steam powered boat build. There are a lot of neat ways to enjoy this hobby.

Dude, you need to bring that thing along with your 1/2a models to the Speed Rally on June 30. I fly 1/2a a few times a year but also like the "vibe" from the 1/2a forum. Most of my stuff is over 125 and movin! That event is for anyone who likes a fast plane!

What a waste. You could have built 4 dozen 1/2A airplanes from what it took to make that one model.

TJ! How do you really feel 3/4 of my stuff is 50cc & larger, but i seem to relax building the smaller stuff. Rubbernecker, my first GS was the larger Stinger with a 62cc gas motor, so i know how much you must like flying yours. Most of the elevators on my planes are larger than my 1/2a stuff! Anyway, its all good as long as your building and flying. Speaking of building, i need to get back on my Schoolboy, .......Gene
