Hey guys So I received a 42" catamaran laser cut kit today just have some questions as I do not have the plans for this kit so If any of you could identify where some of the pieces go that would be a big help. Also It seems as I have 1 extra bulkhead perhaps I am not sure.Someone correct me if im wrong??Here are the pics.

Also It seems as bulkhead D either cat cut too deep or is it supposed to sit that deep within the frames??Its the only one that seems out of place.Anyone Confirm this or have the same plans or instructions for this model??

I'm not exactly sure what glue to use, I would probably say some wood glue since the frame is wood.
I've seen people skin their hulls with both balsa and plywood, the plywood is more durable so it could be a better option.

The slot for that one frame was miscut so a filler will be needed if it's exposed in the tunnel. As far as glue, I'd go with a slow set epoxy. Epoxy will handle the pounding a boat of this type takes better than almost all other types. It can also be used to seal the wood against water damage as water will get in to the boat. As far as skin, I'd go with 1/16 aircraft grade ply. I"ve been building hydroplanes using West Systems Epoxy and birch ply for years, best materials I've found to date

I too would use 1/16" plywood to skin the hull as well as 30 minute epoxy to hold everything together.

any idea on where the other pieces should go that are laid out.The 2 large flat pieces that are bulkheads  one of them I dont think I need as it is bulkhead F there is 2 different ones and last blukhead I believe Is the transom. However all other pieces laid out I am clueless about. Also should I glue the 4 pieces that run bow to stern first?? then glue the bulkheads into those??I know in the picture It looks like there is 2 pieces that run bow to stern but if you look at the first picture at the bow you can see a line that dips below the bulkhead surface that line is another shorter 5/32 birchply that runs bow to stern just a shorter distance.

I think you have several of the cross frames in the wrong places. Starting with the one that fit too low, move all the cross frames aft of that point back one slot and see if the extra cross frame fits in the deep slot. Without having the kit here in front of me, I'm just guessing on how it's set up

Could the extra bulkhead be a doubler for the transom?

Hey guys thanks for the input. Each frame or bulkhead does have a  letter etched into it that corresponds to the slots on the side frames. Here is a picture of th frame in order from the bottom up.Unless they are labelled wrong.Let me know what you guys think.I would assume G and G' is a double up for the transom. However I make no sense of F and F' only thing I can come up with is that F" is for when your planning on running 2 motors and F is just for one.
