My luck Ive waited and waited for the aussie supplier to get the mintor 22 in and finaly sent off a money order and then the next day this is anounced . I probably have waited for the os to hit the shelves but i bet the price is up there . Im not that unhappy with the mintor well when it gets here just the wait is driving me nuts . Cheers the pope

Don't feel to bad as the other recently released OS gassers are quite pricy and have not been reported to be head and shoulders above the competition, so quite possibly this one will be in a similar vein . Even though OS are known for producing quality and reliable engines, and though it's early days yet the Mintor seems as if will prove to be quite capable in these areas, plus it's one of the best lookers around

Well, OS does make some great carburetors. Some of the other engines would be better if their carbs were half as good as the OS carbs.
But availability is the key, on how long it takes to show up in your country so you can get one. The cost is going to hurt though. I think OS did their homework on these really well. We just don't hear or read about anyone having problems with them. So it may be worth it to not have any problems with the engine, it just works. No hassles.

And the new OS gas engines will be / are using Walbro carbs just like most other engine producers in the world.

That is certainly a glo derived carb and regulator on there but the whole engine is a modified glo engine. A Walbro carb would not fit on that engine. There simply isn't room for it to fit. Note also that engine is a prototype and the final production engine may look very different than the photo.

i don't think os needs to copy anybodies engine. they design their own and they are damn good at it. you can't buy a better engine. even though the price is a little high so is everything else...............RON

I wish they would have made these as a rear exhaust type. I see more and more manufacturer's are doing that. It seems to me that a rear carb - rear exhaust is often an advantage and ver a problem. It seems funny to me to make a wrap around pitts muffler when a rear exhaust type would have been stronger and easiar to make.

The GT33 is priced at 399.96 at TH. I find it hard to believe the GT22 will be 50 bucks cheaper. The price will still be high even with a TH discount.
