The nice three ladies WWII show was very entertaining, loved the idea!
It was great to see so many beautiful Warbirds, the craftsmanship on the Staggerwing, the large Stearman with the Moki, the F100 covered with Fliteskin, the Top-Flite Corsair, and many more were outstanding.
Thank you for all the advice I received about my Spitfire engine, two 25x10 propellers are on the way.
See you many of you at Warbirds Over Pikes Peak
Anyone have some pictures to post?

Status: offline 		Thanks to all those who made the event such a huge success! We had 80 pilots and over 150 planes. The pipers, flag raising ceremony and full-scale flyby went off without a hitch. Wait-times to fly were only a few minutes at the height of the event so everyone flew their butts off! The weather was spectacular this year and there were planes in the air from early morning to early evening. Congratulations to all the award winners! Hope you enjoy the trophy's as much as we enjoyed giving them out! The outstanding quality of the aircraft made it especially difficult to pick the winners. We decided that the run-of-the-mill "planes on bases" weren't worthy of the level of artistry and piloting skills we've been seeing so we went all out this year to do something special with the awards. Here's some pics I captured over the weekend...enjoy!

Status: offline 		One of the most impressive displays was the father/son team of Brent and Zack flying a big Zirolli P-47 and a TFGS P-40 in formation. Great job you guys! I also had the pleasure of flying in a gaggle of Spitfires. Ours is the PINK one.

Status: offline 		Never had so much fun, best event I have ever attended. Thank you Lora and Doug for all your efforts in putting these things together. The highlight for me was meeting Elder Brown, the Tuskegee airmen, and having the chance to thank him for his service. The B-25 cowl flap awards were the coolest I have ever seen. Always in awe of the quality of building and flying brought from all over the country by the pilots. Really can not wait for next year! Hoping to make it MN this year with you all.
