For me, it's not all about building a plane, or flying it, it's about life! And besides RC and all my other interests, I'm a musician and love great guitar players and great bands. And when I build, I like great music.

There are no basement's in Houston brother. You would drown.

Kit is a Sig Four Star 60, it will be powered with a Magnum .91 four stroke, and the covering will be my first attempt at using Ultracote. Colors will be Apple Green and Lime Green. I might trim it out using Monocote using the Windex method. Maybe metallic blue.

Jammim while I work.

Stevie Ray Vaughan sure could play! Don't forget the Romeros, Williams, Segovia, Los Angeles Trio and others (classical). John McLaughlin, Robin Trower, Jeff Beck, Rory Gallager and Steve Howe were awesome. Check out DaveM of Dinosaur, Jr- you won't be disappointed! Buddy Guy is still an amzing blues guitiarist! I've heard all the aforementioned and then some! The list goes on. I'm mostly 'into' drumming and classical music myself.

You left out Eric Clapton! Definitely one of my favorites.

Thanks, Gary !

Now, I'm going to dig my vinyl collection, and fire up my turntable. I have several Trower albums, but I haven't listened to them in quite a while.

Hmmm...Trower.   After Hendrix passing, it was assumed that Robin would be the Aire Apparent to Jimi's sound and style.

I'm glad to see he is still at it.

In my later years, I find that hard music makes me cut my fingers more frequently so Its off to classics or my fave "Richard Rodgers" and "Victory at Sea" tunes.

Yes, I use a lot of glue. But being that it's a 4*60 that will be overpowered, and as 4*'s take off in about 3', I'm not worried about the extra weight. And most likely this plane will build tail heavy, I may have to add a lot of lead up front.

You can tell I'm old.

Thanks for the assist.  I put different codes in between the brackets but resolved nothing much.  I'll work on it later.

Thanks again.

For me it's classical, acoustic (Appalachian dulcimer or guitar) or bluegrass while I build. Or I just put the TV on something decent.

Most of my building is done with Pink Floyd or Roger Waters' solo stuff. I never tire of it.

I love and listen to lots of different types of music but since I have been producing The Acoustic Guitar Masters Concert Series in Elizabethtown, Kentucky for the past 12 years I find myself listening a lot to acoustic guitarists such as Tommy Emmanuel from Australia and Michael Kelsey from Lafayette, Indiana. I also listen to singer/songwriters such as Kris Kristofferson, Leonard Cohen and Antsy McClain of Antsy McClain and The Trailer Park Troubadours depending on my mood. It's all good kit building music.

Traded my Roadhouse Deluxe Strat yesterday for a Godin Velocity. I have a new kit on the board, an ARF that should show up today, and a new guitar.

Hello WORK! I'm sick.

Classical for building, I can't think and rock at the same time. Then I rock when covering, I allow my brain to completely stop when I am holding a covering iron. I find it very relaxing.

Classic Rock or Country/Rock for building. I enjoy Classical music too, but if building late at night it makes my eyelids too heavy. I don't need heavy eyelids while using the band saw.
