The style of flying is combat, relaxing fliers, and things like that. The budjet is $40 to $100. The size I want is 40'' to 2 meter.

You aren't going to find but one or two for sale, no matter how many we list. But stuff like that has never stopped some of us before.

Gentle Lady for an excellent beginner glider. You'll need a HiStart and more than the average RC field to fly it. Using a HiStart at your average RC field won't work very well. There used to be a DrifterII and a Sig Riser that were similar. They are excellent beginner gliders. If you're wanting to thermal and want to catch at least a few in your lifetime, keep in mind that the greater the wingspan the more probability you'll have finding lift and thermals. 2m is about where you'll have better luck.

The Bird of Time was available from Tower last year. It's 118" wing makes it a better bet finding thermals. Another HiStart required glider.

Electric motor in the nose.

Tower and Hangar9 have foamy things that're ready to go.

Status: offline 		Well I have a Hi-Start and my Dad has a Drifter II. How much is the Gentle Lady? A guy at my flying field had 2 gliders for sale, one a Drifter II and one a Gentle Lady. My Dad bought the Drifter for about $40 and the Gentle Lady was about the same.

Slope combat?  You have to be talking EPP then as that is what is going to survive air combat.  And the flying wings are the by far the most popular for air combat, but I also list some semi-scale planes.  I just went to Yahoo and typed in EPP Combat Slope Gliders.  That is how I found these links, though some of them I knew already.


I fly a Zagi 3C EPP flying wing which would be great for combat, but I don't fly slope combat so I can only recommend what I know is popular for this kind of flying.

The Bird of Time is still available from Tower Hobbies, both in kit and ARF form. The Sig Riser is still available from Sig - I just built my second one.
