I know this is not strictly jet related, but I need the help from my jet buddies.

Our club in the San Francisco Bay Area is being evicted by the Parks Department. As you can imagine, being California, the Parks Department is broke, but they can find 8 million dollars to create a swamp to save the red legged frog or something like it. What we are trying is to let us keep our site and coexist with any development they might want to do. There are examples all over the country that show this is feasible, like Markham Park and Santa Clara (Tomcats)

In order to achieve this, we were adviced by AMA to try to create as much community support as possible

So here is where we need your help: please follow this link and sign the petition to the parks department to not evict us.

New to this hobby but have learned that this is a pretty tight knit group of nice people. I met a guy I didn't know the other day... RC planes came up and we stood there talking about it for an hour or so. Now we are planning on starting a flying club in this small town I live in. Just looking for a landowner to share his feild with us.
