Well.... we gave it a shot. Raised awareness, contacted the city council. But no luck.

Got a really nasty letter from the Parks Department (Bob Doyle if anyone know him). I replied saying how sad is to have a public servant giving that kind of reply.
I guess he wasn't happy to have over 600 emails in his inbox from all of you who supported our cause

Demolition of the field will take place this week. And we all know that the land will sit abandoned for years as they don't have funding or an approved plan to begin construction... Really really sad.

Thanks to all of you for taking a few minutes to help us. It was a long shot, but worth trying...
