Hello again. This build will be of the Meister Zero with the very nice fiberglass fuselage parts. It will have Sierra gear, converted to electric by Down and Locked of course, and possibly a Moki 150 for power. This is my wish anyway. A Zero is displayed in the USAF museum in Dayton Ohio, a short trip away, and may just be the subject plane for the build. Not sure yet.

A couple build threads are on RCSB of this same Meister Zero, so I thought I would do a thread here.

Great to here Gary, looking forward to it....
It's kind of funny, when I was younger i used to hate Warbirds that were not American or it's allies. I guess I was in my own thinking doing my part in keeping the war going, good guys against the bad type of thing..lol
Now days I like all WWII warbirds and have some of the enemy planes in mind for future builds, mostly German.. I still don't have a love for Jap planes, so we will see just how good you really are. Something tells me you will convert me by the end of this thread...

Garry and Brian, I wish you a successful building...

As you know I bring from Top Gun for my friend same model, but with wooden fuselage.
Your project will be good guide for him, and all other Meister Scale Zero builders, you are so good in making models...

Subscribed...

Regards from Serbia

Thanks guys.

All these guys were aviators and I love aviation. A good flying plane is just that to me. The Zero was a very good flying plane, and I suspect this Meister will be as well. I'm looking forward to sharing the experience with you all.

It will be a little bit of a slow start, so please bare with me as I get up to speed. There are some other commitments, and I still have not taken delivery of the wood package. I think I will see if Dion can just ship the gear directly to Down And Locked for the electric conversion. This will all take some time.

Yea, I started doing some research and getting up to speed a little on the Zero. I have a lot to learn. I have a friend that works at the USAF museum, and has told me in the past that he could get me up close and personal to planes I need pictures of. This may be the one I take him up on. When I do, you will get a complete photo package of all that I get.

Having an example to crawl around will be huge.

108" Mirce. Not sure on the Evolution yet. I'll check on it and let you know. Dino said the Moki 150 fits, but I don't know yet how close it is.

Thanks for that info. i wish Evolution had considered the market of planes before going larger than Moki on everything.

Thanks Doug.

Yes, that is one regret I have. Just way too much time to visit and enjoy the company. I hope things will be different in the future.
