So since the new Bruiser is out I was wondering if any new owners might be willing to share some info on it. In particular I wanted to know if the diff gears in the new Bruiser are all metal? Are they still aluminum like in the original or maybe steel in the new one? Does anyone have pics or an exploded diagram of the differentials? Also I was hoping I could get some dimensions of the main ring gear in the diffs, especially it's diameter?

Any help would be appreciated. (I have an idea running in my head to use the front and rear diffs in a scratchbuilt rock crawler, that's assuming that the parts become available separately from Tamiya at som point in the not too distant future).

Thanks all. :)

The ring, pinion, and internal sun gears appear to be made of the same cast aluminum as many of Tamiya's heavier duty electric truck diffs. I could be wrong, but the internal planet gears look to be made of plastic.
