Has anyone attempted tinting the canopy on the Bobcat 50? Will the material accept the Rit dye method?

Good question.

The plastic on mine was painted from the bottom, not condusive to the dye method.... Not the thickest plastic either.

On one plane that I have which I will build next year, I was planning on lightly fiberglassing the bottom completely to give the canopy more strength, and then painting the top.
