What retracts should I put on a esm 85" wingspan corsair? Does anyone have one of these planes? It is going to weigh approximately 26 pounds.

Possibly the Robart gear for the Top Flite P-40, but you should investihate the spec's first! Check the Robart website.

There is a large build thread here on that plane. Sierra gear was used I believe.

Tower sells a set of retracts made for this plane for around $ 350. I used Century Jet retracts on mine. My model is 32 pounds and flys great. I have seen them range from 28 to 33 pounds with no problems flying. My model has a G 62 for power.

SHH   dont tell anyone,   but over here, we are using the esm ones,  but,  although ours work great,  they dont work at all over your side,   must be the rotation of the earth or something,

1) sierra is proven at this size , time and time again (air)
2)robart makes a big set for the Top Flight kit version and they would work on this plane (air)
3)Dont know about esm(eletric) , do know Troy Built (the distributor is excellent ) version one esm were slow , you would be better off placeing a US stamp on your plane and mailing it down to the ground because the US post office would be faster then the gear could retract.
Version two looks extremely promising and to be very sturdy , unfortunitly I dont own them personally so its just what I see on line .
