OK, does anyone have any experience with this model? It was a Walt Mooney design that appeared in M.A.N. in 1955 and was a Jetco kit available through the late Sixties I believe. It was designed for PAA load, but could be converted to R/C or U/C. I'd like to find a real one to restore, but the model will do nicely for now. It's a neat little airplane!

So I'm looking for this kit, if anyone has one for sale. The M.A.N. plans are also available from an Ebay seller and M.A.N. probably. If I go that route - does anyone have a recommendation on a laser kit cutter?
I've haven't used one before - do they need them on a CD or do the scan from paper plans? Russ Farris

Hi,

I had some kits cut by Lazerworks.com and was very happy with them. He does cut from plans. What I got was good wood selection and accurately cut parts. Far better to build from than the die crunched kits of old.

Thanks guys - PD1, I seem to remember you built the Jetco Mite several years ago, or am I mistaken?

Hi Russ,
Wasn't me. I do have the plans and a set of small pneumatic retracts for it, but I still haven't built one yet.
Looking forward to you building one though.

Paul
