Hello there, trying to make my own mixture i'd like to ask some things.. First the oil that is used is some kind of 'special' oil? Has nothing to do with oil for 2-stroke motorbikes? Because i have read all this about Klotz and other stuff.. words uknown here..!

Also is nitromethane a basic part of fuel or i can run without it.. (engines like mds, mvvs etc..)

Thanks

GSP,

You will need a two stroke oil that will mix with methanol.... VERY IMPORTANT. Check at your local motorcycle shop and see if they have oil that will mix with methanol. Use it ONLY if it says it will mix with methanol on the label. Straight castor oil is great if that is all you can find, but a castor/sythectic mix will cause less varnishing on you engine.

Secondly, nitromethane will be hard to come by in your region of Europe. Most European flyers use "FAI" or no nitro fuel, so it's just methanol and oil. A typical blend would be 80% methanol and 20% oil content.

Now, at risk of spamming, if you can't get the oil, I sell Klotz products and can send it to you, but obviously, it would be cheaper if you can find it somewhere in Greece or Italy....

Regards,

GPB
