Status: offline 		Well this will be the first WDA jet event I have missed. Went to Mt plesent TX for their event. Nice field and people. 2 frount tires on the RV and other minor problems we are having a good time. The Bandit exploded on a up hill run with a 10 foot flame out of the back. On down wind the fire went out and I landed with no problems. When I pulled the motor out the rear wheel fell out of the motor. I have to do body work on the plane. It wont look good but will fly with my spare Titan. Hope you have a great event. Dan Avilla

Glad to see you got the model back safely and that this happened in a safe area. Do you know the cause?

Status: offline 		Had a lot of fun today... 8 flights on the Electra, 4 on the F100 and 2 on the MiG.
Chris, Ken and Gonzalo got to try the Electra too

Thanks a lot to Monty Welch and the rest of the organizers for putting this together. It is as always a lot of work. Too bad the weather kept some pilots away from the event.

Also, thanks a lot to BVM and JetCentral for the generous donations.

Status: offline 		Showed up Saturday morning to an awesome field, blue sky and a bit of a breeze. Had an incredible amount of fun flying my UF and Rafale. I really enjoy coming to this event. Monty and the crew do a great job. Really appreciate the effort they put in making it a fun event, thank you!

Good variety of jets this year. It was great to see some new pilots and speak to old friends. Thank you Jack for a bit of stick time on the Electra. Smooth bird you have there. And to my friend Jim, glad you came up from Brentwood to help me out for the day.

OMG, that reporter was nuts. Super high energy guy. He told me our jets scare the crap out of him. Scarrier than hang gliding and riding with the blue angles. He couln't get over how we fly them to/from our position with the Tx. To funny. Unfortunately they got video of my worst fly by ever, lol.
