I don't know if we will see this plane. If I knew I wouldn't have asked for updates.

Would you like the height to the fin.

Here is mine next to my other falcon or is it a Tornado. Who knows

No that's definitely a Falcon Tim.

I'm confused "Tim", not a hard thing I know

Did you not say that you know where to buy this F16

Yours looks like a Cermark F16 which was a very popular model but is currently out of production. As far as i know.  Feel free to correct me if im wrong  Maybe you should look at launching the model on the market again. Surely with your expertise that would be worth having a go at.

We are all waiting to be enlightened by your knowledge, so come on stop teasing and spill the beans. Where can we buy the f16?

When there's new news about the ModellbauUSA F16 we'll let you know.

Ian

Sounds like a good option/value to the current F-16s out there.

What is the feasibility of electric retracts? Or are these electric and I missed that part?

I have a yellow and BVM F-16, (both 1/9 scale +-) the air system and lines are a concern to me. I am looking to convert the original gear to electric. One of the reasons I am looking to go electric is so gear don't fail if there's a leak. When doors fail, brakes fail, gear fail, all linked to each other in failure.

What I don't understand is why he goes out of his way to slam Modellbau every chance he gets. Tim Watson, if that is his real name, seems to be a very angry individual in general.

Personally if it were me developing these products, I would never ever release any information until the end product was proven and sitting in my warehouse ready to ship.

Why? If had 15 year+ yellow gear and not a single leak. They are that good.

15 years ago, yes I agree, but now with electric screw drives, personally I like that system better, smoother. Again, for me personally.

I don't know what's the beef between Tim Watson and Modellbau (US/UK) but the plane in the link submitted by Tim is eerie similar to the one Modellbau submitted the measurements. I just hope the plane makes it in the US market at the price proposed by Modellbau USA. There's a lot of jet manufacturers that are been listening to the EDF crowd asking for newer little smaller designs in order to have EDF versions of the planes. FeiBao has a couple that CC Models in Italy is selling (BAE Hawk, F9F, EF2000). Skymaster has a new line of EDF jets coming out soon (F-16, F-18, F-15, F86, A10 and Viper) I guess they're finally accepting the hair drier crowd into the Jet realm which is good for everybody.

Hopefully this F-16 will see the day soon!!

The one I posted a link to was I think a Cermark F16 like the one I have. It is my belief that the one at the start of this thread also has it origins as a Cermark

Now I am showing my age, that tune is not from a sketch originally its from the theme to an early TV version of Robin Hood staring Richard Green (black and white no less), in the opening titles they shoot an arrow that goes past a Telegraph pole, in those days video tape did not exist, so no slow motion, well I am talking about 50 years ago, Oh dear now I'v depressed myself, I think I will go and lie down in a dark room for a while with a bottle of Claret.
