Just wanted to say RIP to the pilots of Tanker 11 and hearts and prayers for their familys, friends, and everyone in the tanker community.

Always a sad situation when people are lost in the line of duty. The public has a very limited understanding as to what these people do and how valuable they are to the fire fighting community.

I always think back to tanker 123 as my uncle went down in the B-24 version in 1944.

My thoughts and prayers to all involved in this dangerous but necessary type of flying.

Never a good thing. I used to fly jets for that company and have seen too many of their planes go down. Their new BAE jet is a lot better plane for the job. Keep the pilots safe.
